Spartan High School is a well established private school in Kempton Park.

Spartan High has a strong academic focus. Over many years we have consistently achieved a matric pass rate in excess of 80%. Spartan High also excels in the arts. We are regular and consistent achievers at the local Eisteddfod and regularly produce musicals that are well attended by local parents and public. 

We give optimum personal and individual attention possible to every learner. To this purpose Spartan High School maintains a pupil • teacher ratio of fewer than 20 learners per teacher. 

Spartan High School is a member of the Alliance of Black Independent Schools. We offer tuition in two black languages, isiZulu and sePedi, with English as primary medium of instruction. Spartan High is also excels in computer studies, which we see as a critical educational tool for gainful employment. 

Spartan High has a vision of education as balance between knowledge, discipline and motivation. We believe these three values provide for character as well as competence required to prepare learners to become successful as well as responsible citizens. 

Our History

Spartan High was created as private school in 1994. Our excellent academic tuition, uplifting motivation and caring discipline have consistently grown our learner numbers to well over 450.

• The Constantly Improving Results award from the Gauteng Dept of Education after the 2006 matrict results     (Ekurhuleni West District)
• Learner-teacher ratio of less than 20 learners per teacher
